Description
The Bugatti Type 57S Competition Coupe Aerolithe was designed by Jean Bugatti, a french auto designed and was unveiled at the the 1935 Paris Motor Show. It shocked visitors to the London and Paris auto shows with its sleekly styled body - a sharp contrast to the boxy cars of its era. The body was fabricated in Elektron magnesium alloy, a material that was very difficult to weld. Its low-slung body and teardrop-shaped fenders made the car appear to be moving a great speeds.
