Description
The Bahai Gardens and Temple is located on the side of Mt. Carmel, in Haifa, Israel. It was designed by architect Fariborz Sahba from Iran and contains 19 landscaped terraces going down the side of the mountain. In the center is the Shrine of the Bab which contains the tomb of Siyyad Ali Muhammed. The magnificent gardens and shrine have been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is truly one of the most spectacular places to visit when in Israel.
