Description
Victoria Harbor is a natural landform separating Hong Kong island from mainland China. The harbor's deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on the South China Sea were instrumental in the establishment of Hong Kong as a British colony. The harbor is well-known for the large number of tall buildings that line both sides. At night the creatively lit buildings are a grand sight for all to see. The best venue at which to view the harbor is Victoria Peak. The peak is accessible via a tram that will take visitors from the very bottom to the top of the peak. This photograph was taken from the top of Victoria Peak and displays some of the tall buildings and creative lighting that makes this view one of the best.
