Acre is an historic and ancient walled port city with continuous settlement since the Phoenician period in history. It is one of the oldest continuously settled cities in the ancient world. The remains of the Crusader town, dating from 1104 to 1291, lie almost intact.
Acre has undergone numerous conquests and, over the centuries, has been ruled by many conquerors including the Phoenicians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Israelis. It has been and still remains an important location along the north coast of Israel near the Lebanese border. Acre was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
Photography is one of my main passions in life. I love photographing anything I see that is beautiful, unusual or special. I enjoy shooting nature, landscape, landmarks, animals, architecture and anything else I see that strikes me as worthy of a camera shot. I especially enjoy travel photography and have been fortunate to have seen many wonderful places in this incredible world of ours. I hope that you will find my work worthy of hanging in your residence or office and enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed presenting it to you. Any comments are always appreciated.
