"Gone With the Wind" - Suntrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves since its opening in 2017, has been renamed Truist Park as of 2020. Upon leaving Turner Field in 2017 the Atlanta Braves called Suntrust Park their home. It was built as a public-private partnership with Cobb County and is located ten miles northwest of downtown Atlanta, just outside I-285, Atlanta's perimeter highway. Turner Field, which was originally Centennial Olympic Stadium for the 1996 Summer Olympic games was home to the Braves for almost 20 years, but fans became frustrated trying to get to games, as the stadium was right in the heart of downtown and traffic congestion was bad. However, the name Suntrust, which had a nice ring to it, had become synonymous with the Braves, but is no more. The bank merged with another bank and the name was changed to Truist Park.

Photography is one of my main passions in life. I love photographing anything I see that is beautiful, unusual or special. I enjoy shooting nature, landscape, landmarks, animals, architecture and anything else I see that strikes me as worthy of a camera shot. I especially enjoy travel photography and have been fortunate to have seen many wonderful places in this incredible world of ours. I hope that you will find my work worthy of hanging in your residence or office and enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed presenting it to you. Any comments are always appreciated.
