In 2008, a 3 story building named Phra Maha Mondop was erected to house the Golden Buddha image.
The first floor contains a museum, the Chinatown Heritage centre where visitors can learn about the history of Chinatown and the Chinese immigrants in Bangkok.
The second floor contains an exhibition on the history of the Golden Buddha. Some of the coating that revealed its true identity are on display here. The top floor of the Phra Maha Mondop contains the Golden Buddha image.
Photography is one of my main passions in life. I love photographing anything I see that is beautiful, unusual or special. I enjoy shooting nature, landscape, landmarks, animals, architecture and anything else I see that strikes me as worthy of a camera shot. I especially enjoy travel photography and have been fortunate to have seen many wonderful places in this incredible world of ours. I hope that you will find my work worthy of hanging in your residence or office and enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed presenting it to you. Any comments are always appreciated.
