The Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel sits on the site formerly occupied by the Georgia Governor's Mansion. At 73 stories and 723 feet in height it is currently the17th tallest hotel in the world. (When it opened 1n 1976 it was the tallest hotel in the world.)
