This amazing sunset image was taken from Battery Park in Burlington, Vt. on September, 30, 2022, looking across Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains in northeastern New York State. It was just one of those lucky chances in which the sky gave us a perfect layer of light clouds at just the right time of day. The result was probably the most amazing sunset that I have ever witnessed. (As luck would have it, we were at the same spot the night before, and the sunset was nothing to brag about. Fortunately, we decided to try again this evening and, WOW)
