The Temple of Athena Nike sits on the Acropolis, the huge stone outcropping that rises 490 feet above Athens, Greece. It was constructed around the sixth century BCE in honor of the Greek Goddess, Athena. Like many structures of ancient times it was demolished and rebuilt several times over the centuries. This photograph was captured in 2007.
Photography is one of my main passions in life. I love photographing anything I see that is beautiful, unusual or special. I enjoy shooting nature, landscape, landmarks, animals, architecture and anything else I see that strikes me as worthy of a camera shot. I especially enjoy travel photography and have been fortunate to have seen many wonderful places in this incredible world of ours. I hope that you will find my work worthy of hanging in your residence or office and enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed presenting it to you. Any comments are always appreciated.
