The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto, Japan, is a natural forest of mostly Moso Bamboo. It is located in western Kyoto right in the middle of a residential and commercial area and close to the Tenryu-ji Temple. The pathway through the forest gives a visitor a most peaceful feeling and the thousands of tall bamboo are a beautiful sight.
Photography is one of my main passions in life. I love photographing anything I see that is beautiful, unusual or special. I enjoy shooting nature, landscape, landmarks, animals, architecture and anything else I see that strikes me as worthy of a camera shot. I especially enjoy travel photography and have been fortunate to have seen many wonderful places in this incredible world of ours.
